for the Study of Hellenism

Dr. Stamatia Dova, Hellenic College Professor of Classics and Greek Studies, presented a talk in the Exhibit Room of the Maliotis Cultural Center, followed by a light reception. Dr. Dova explored the Homeric Hymn to Apollo and its performance at the Delian festivals around 522 B.C., when Delos became a cultural and spiritual center for the Ionians, portrayed as “ageless and immortal.”
